Your Guide to Giving Your Hair a Pop of Color

by | Jul 7, 2021 | Makeup Products

Do you love the look of bold, brightly colored hair but hate the idea of the upkeep that looks like that require? If so, you are not alone. Dozens of beauty companies have created great, semi-permanent or temporary color products that deliver remarkable color, all without the commitment or damage.

Temporary Color

Have you ever wanted to change your hair color every day? Until recently, that was either a silly notion or a very bad one. To do that, you would have to color your hair with strong, potentially damaging chemicals every day. After a few weeks, you would not have any hair left!

These days, there are plenty of options for temporary color. These products give you the option to comb in, spray in, or even wash in color that you can wash right back out after a day or two. While these products do not have the same boldness as semi-permanent dyes, they do give you plenty of flexibility.

Semi-Permanent Color

If you have darker hair or want color that will really pop, semi-permanent color is a better choice. Look for options that you can easily apply, and which are designed to last longer and look brighter. A good example is KISS Color Tintination Dye. The product comes in over 50 shades, and those shades can easily be mixed to create unique hues that no other person will have.

Want to rock a color that is unique to you? Buy a few bottles and start mixing. Apply your mixture once, then again once it begins to fade. You will re-up your gorgeous, colorful glow – and you will do it all for under ten bucks a bottle!

Ultimately, the only way to get the neon shades you see in magazines and music videos is with dangerous bleaching and harsh dyes. You would be better off with a good wig or choosing one of these less damaging – and easier – options.
